As the calendar year quickly approaches and the DJHL pauses to allow the Mt. Pearl Christmas Tournament and Santa to take center stage, the League would like to say a sincere thanks to all the many volunteers, parents, players and fans that make our 38-team operation a quality program. Hockey is one of the most passionate of sports and we sometimes let our emotions get the best of us. But in the end the sport has a sense of community which most other sports seldom achieve. So, take pause over the holidays and take a moment to say thanks to someone in the game that continues to make a difference for you and those around you.
