We are pleased to announce that the 102 players identified to participate on a full-time basis in the RBC-sponsored DJHL Peewee A Division are now posted in the League Info section of our web site. Our try-out process spanned 48 on-ice hours and featured 227 players vying for a coveted spot in our program. The efforts of all players was equally matched by their sportsmanship on and off the ice. Thank you to one and all for participating and best wishes from the League to players now getting ready to complete for positions on DJHL club all-star teams. Prior to the Draft taking place next week, players will skate in front of selected Peewee A coaches at three one-hour games at Twin Rinks this Friday, October 7th. At 6pm Team 1 plays Team 2. At 7pm Team 3 plays Team 4 and at 8pm Team 5 faces Team 6. Team assignments and pre-determined jersey numbers are shown on the same document revealing the full list of players selected to our RBC Peewee ‘A’ Division. As per DJHL policy, there are no evaluations provided for any players not selected. Affiliated Players for the League will be notified before the season starts and assigned to the various teams. Each team will have one goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards as affiliate players. Please see the League Info section of our web site for more information on this value-priced development program. Registration for a full roster player remains at $1,000 for the full season. Affiliate players (except affiliate goalies who play or practice upon request for free) will pay $120 for the full season. Details on the October 20th Registration Payment Night will be posted later.
