The Girls Pooled U13 A Championship Game at Twin Rinks on Thursday night was a real crowd pleaser as the BNS Puffins and BNS Hawks battled it out for League supremacy. In the end, a rebound tap in by Paityn Williams from a shot by Lydia Evans with 2.4 seconds to play in the middle frame proved to be the deciding factor as the Hawks soared to a 1-0 victory. The first place and Provincial Champion Puffins pressed hard in the third period but goalie Adia Pendergast and a defense corps led by Avery Strong held off the swarming Puffins. 

It was a season to remember for all of the players in the new pooled program, They turned heads with their skill and impressed with their drive and commitment. The trail has been blazed.
