The DJHL will be expanding its Scotiabank Pooled Program for the 2019-2020 season with the introduction of Bantam AA and Peewee AA divisions. Now that players can play on both a local hockey team and a regional AAA team under revised HNL rules, the League in consultation with the various Member Association Presidents have opted for four-team divisions in Peewee AA, Peewee A, Bantam AA and Bantam A. 16 teams will now be registered and operated by the DJHL. Major revision to the DJHL Governance document is now ongoing.
Players can expect to register on-line for try-outs in the Pooled Program at the www.djhl.ca beginning August 1.
Elsewhere, the DJHL is finalizing plans to introduce a C Division across the board in Atom, Peewee, and Bantam. More details on this exciting news in the near future.
