Peewee B Eagles Nest Turns Golden
The Northeast Eagles soared to a convincing 6-1 victory on Tuesday night over the Paradise Warriors at Paradise Arenas to claim the DJHL Peewee B Divisional title in four games. The big Game 4 win ended the longest best of five series in recent League history - 22 days from start to finish. The Eagles took home the Fisher Family Championship Trophy for their efforts. The Eagles won the first two series games by 2-1 and 5-2 scores before the Warriors rallied in Game 3 to win 2-1. Luke Power and Andrew Gosse both scored twice to lead the Eagles attack. Single Northeast markers came from Tyler Holwell and Josh Holwell. Warriors' lone marksman was Nick Jones. The last game of the DJHL Play-off Season goes on Wednesday night at Glacier 2 at 8pm when the RBC Wolverines and RBC Falcons let fur and feathers fly in a Game 3 battle for the Peewee A Bronze. It's been a crazy seven weeks of play-off hockey! TP
